About Insight Psychiatry

Insight Psychiatry, led by board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Brittany Wilson, DNP, PMHNP-BC, offers exceptional psychiatric care to patients aged 13 and older in Orange Park, Florida and surrounding counties. She provides the highest quality of compassionate and specialized care to patients from all walks of life. 

Dr. Wilson offers in-person appointments  and also offers virtual visits via telehealth. 

Dr. Wilson completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, before receiving her Master of Science in Nursing and post-master certificate in psychiatric mental health at Jacksonville University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. There, she recieved the Certificate of Nursing Excellence in her class. Dr. Wilson brings her immense experience treating various mental health conditions and compassionate for all things mental health to each and every patient that walks in her office.

Insight Psychiatry conducts thorough diagnostic assessments for new patients before diagnosing a condition and developing a customized treatment plan. Dr. Wilson also offers specialized, welcoming care to teens struggling with mental health concerns. 

Dr. Wilson emphasizes integrative psychiatry, combining medications, psychotherapy, and lifestyle support to improve overall well-being. She can skillfully treat conditions like depression, anxiety, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
